The 40 Minutes.

Forty minutes that are yours alone. No noise, no audience.

The club

A run club by NUKKEN.

The 40 Minutes is a run club started by NUKKEN in Madrid. The idea is simple.

Most of us have full days. Work, family, everything else. Forty minutes is what we keep for ourselves.

We run out for twenty, turn, and come back together. No race, no clock, no one left behind.

Then coffee, for whoever wants it.

Stories

Their time. Their forty minutes.

People who choose the harder morning, with no one watching. A new story every month.

Alex

Physiotherapist

He spends his working week putting other people's bodies back together. Most mornings, ten kilometres are his alone.

Weekends belong to the bike. He loves the work, but the road is the one place where nothing is asked of him.

Javi

Operating theatre assistant

He trains at seven, before the first operation of the day. Five days a week, three of them doubles: run, swim, bike, and strength.

The only hard part, he says, is choosing what to wear. The rest stops being effort once you commit.

“It's a way of life. A chance to go beyond yourself, every day.”
